The ghost strongly questions Hamlet about if he loves his father enough he will eventually revenge for him. Hamlet said to the ghost that he would love to create a revenge so he suspects if King Claudius is the one who murders his father. He decided to take it slowly because he still

prove his love through revenge. In addition, he asked the ghost to tell him about how did King Hamlet get murder. Hamlet attempt to take things slowly and carefully in order to revenge king Claudius in the period of time that he may suffer by depression. “How strange or odd some’er I bear myself / As I perchance hereafter shall think meet / To put an antic disposition on,” said Hamlet. (1.5.177-179) Hamlet notices that king Claudius kill his father and he starts to take the next step to revenge. He tells Horatio that he pretends to be mad; although he isn’t actually maddening such as from the quote “You are a fishmonger, says Hamlet.” Hamlet pretends to act that he doesn’t remember who is Polonius and calling him ‘fishmongers.’ From this, Polonius and Claudius tends to conclude that he has been insane.

Nevertheless, Hamlet just wants to make Claudius feel guilty about things he did by asking the actors to perform situation that demonstrates how the past king Hamlet has died. The turning point in this act is when Hamlet said: “To be or not to be—that is the question: / Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer / The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, / Or to take arms against a sea of troubles.” (3.1. 59-61) It explained about mortality in life, Hamlet is asking questions about the right of living life over death in terms of moral. However, he is thinking if he murders Claudius he might need to admit his sin for murder. At the end, Hamlet left with nothing in life; Ophelia his girlfriend has committed suicide because of madness when she lost her father and Hamlet mother’s Gertrude remarried with his uncle. In some phenomena, there are similarities among Hamlet and Laertes which can be shown by they are both hurts by the loss of late King Hamlet and Polonius which are their fathers. Laertes quickly return back to Denmark and said to Claudius and Gertrude that “How came he dead? I’ll not be juggled with. / To hell, allegiance! Vows, to the blackest devil! / Conscience and grace, to the profoundest pit! / I dare damnation. To this point I stand, / That both the worlds I give to negligence, / Let come what comes, only I’ll be revenged / Most thoroughly for my father.” (4.5.130-136) In contrast to Hamlet, after Laertes notices that his father’s Polonius dead, he quickly comeback from France. In spite of Hamlet, Claudius conveys Laertes to revenge Hamlet by operate with him and create a plan for murder Hamlet. Firstly, by stab Hamlet with a poison sword. Moreover, if this plan is not successful Claudius has back up plan as well; he will force Hamlet to drink poison cup of wine.  Hamlet said that “Does it not, think’st thee, stand me now upon – / He that hath kill’d my king and whored my mother, / Popp’s in between the election and my hopes, / Thrown out his angle for my proper life, / And with such cozenage – isn’t not perfect conscience, / To quit him with this arm? And isn’t not be damn’d, / To ket this canker of our nature come / In further evil?” (5.2.65-71) Hamlet question to Claudius that, he is not only murder his father and re-married with his father but also limit his right to go aboard to continue study in Wittenberg which cause him frustration. Hamlet struggle to say that Claudius is the one who determine his life by sending him on the ship journey to England. So, isn’t it right for Hamlet to murder Claudius with the sword. Lastly, he saw letter that Claudius order someone to murder him which affirms that Claudius wants to avenge him while Claudius still be able to keep himself in the position. Laertes says, “To cut his throat I’ th’ church.” (4.7.103) Laertes inform that he willing to kill someone because he thinks that he already cogitates comparing to Hamlet when he sees Claudius praying he feels that if he kills him the sin will occur. Things Laertes decides to do is the things that Hamlet ignore to do which can directly appeals to other emotions.
